2024
Referee Information

Interested in refereeing in Virginia Beach on April 13-14? Fill out our interest form!

Thank you very much for your interest in being involved as a referee (or armorer, or trainer, or Bout Committee member) in our event! It is no exaggeration to say we couldn't do it without you.

Requirements: Officials should have working knowledge of all current USA Fencing rules and rule changes as of March 1, 2024. Officials are not required to wear USA Fencing standard attire (navy jacket, grey pants or skirt) but are welcome to do so; in any event they should wear comparably professional clothing.

Hiring

The organizers of the Championships are hiring officials to referee the two-day event as independent contractors. While USA Fencing ratings are not required, referee experience is preferred. Our goal is to hire referees who have ratings of 8 or higher OR comparable experience. Even if you are a 10 or unrated and wish to referee, please apply. If we are able to use you, we will!

Please fill out this form to indicate availability to work the USACFC 2024 Championships on April 13-14 in Virginia Beach, VA. Completion of this form does not guarantee employment. Contact coordinator Josh Herring at treasurer@usacfc.org with any questions you might have.
